Each member gets a web page on Developers Direct that includes an information area, a place for your logo and a rotating photo show (slide show) or video area.
To get your information into a form that we can use simply DOWNLOAD OUR MEMBERSHIP FORM. Open the WORD document and fill it out directly on your computer. Simply type in the information that is requested. There is a clear delineation of what will be seen on this site and the other information needed to effectively serve you like inventory and price lists that may not be seen directly by the public. This information is marked as "Internal Use". Save the file and This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Photoshow The photoshow consists of a set of landscape images that are seen as a continuous slide show. Your photos should be formatted as .jpg image files (267 pixels across and 200 pixels down at 72 dpi RGB). Attach the picture files to an email and send them to us. If the attachments add up to more than 2 MB then you may need to send several smaller emails. Don't worry if none of this makes any sense. Just contact us and we will tell you how to send us your pictures. We will do the rest. If you don't have photos we at Developers Direct can supply appropriate stock photos to compliment your offerings. Video If you have video you can send it to us. Video files are usually large and should not be sent as an email attachment. Instead burn a CD or DVD of your video. Just burn the file and don't worry about making a "Movie" type DVD. We will do the magic to put the video on your Developers Direct web page. A Note About Video High quality video encodes better for the web. We would prefer a DV movie file over a file that has been already compressed, for example. Material originated from a VHS tape would not be a good choice. We can handle QuickTime (preferred), Windows Media, DV, HDV and uncompressed 8 bit and 10 bit files (Apple, AJA & Blackmagic codecs). We can accept DV, HDV and Betacam SP tape formats.
